Jakarta Street Food: Nasi Uduk

What a way to start the day.  Rather than fussing with special meals such as muesli or cornflakes, Indonesians breakfast on whatever they happen to feel like.  And who doesn’t feel like deep fried spicy goodness at all times of the day and night?  Even the rice is steamed with coconut milk.

In my country we do have a heavy breakfast also. People from other part of America sometimes got surprise in the South they take only coffee or tea and toast bread.
